Thad Weist joined SpectraShield Technologies in 2018 as the CEO. He is a West Point graduate and served more than 21 years as an Army Aviation Officer. He has led organizations as small as 16 and as large as 5,000. Thad has a master’s degree from the US Naval War College in Strategy.  He has served in multiple staff and leadership positions and deployed frequently across the world with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was the Department Head for Arizona State University prior to joining SpectraShield Technologies. Born and raised in Cleveland, OH. He and his wife, Polly, reside in Kansas City, MO with their three sons—Jack, Sawyer, and Patton.
